All Assero Gear jackets are built to the same standard as our Tropical pants with Cordura 1000D sewn with heavy duty Coats Nylon thread. All mesh panels are reinforced internally with webbing to ensure that the garment will remain intact in the event of an accident. All of our jackets come with high quality SAS-TEC elbow and shoulder protectors.

All Assero jackets have a back pocket for the SAS-TEC Hot Weather Back Protector. We tested many different back protectors and found that the SAS-TEC variety were the most comfortable in hot weather. Assero Air-Speed Jacket

The Assero Air-Speed jacket, photographed above, is made entirely from Cordura 1000D. The Air-Speed is our strongest and most durable jacket, suitable for long, demanding rides in hot and humid conditions. The construction is designed for maximum strength. All of the dual track Coats Nylbond main seams are overlapped with an extra safety seam concealed within the seam. Heavy duty mesh panels on the front and sides of the jacket promote air-flow. The mesh panels are reinforced with webbing behind the mesh anchored to the Cordura 1000D body.

Assero Gear was the first motorcycle jacket designer and manufacturer to reinforce motorcycle jacket ventilation panels with webbing behind the mesh. This technique has now been taken up by some of the world's largest motorcycle clothing brands. While it is flattering to be copied, we note they use lower cost, lightweight polyester thread and lower strength materials.

At the rear of the Air-Speed jacket is a #10 YKK coil safety zipper for connecting to your riding pants. These zips are extraordinarily strong. They are made in batches by YKK in Japan to special order. They match the zips on our 2015 to 2020 Tropical pants (a zip adapter can be supplied at no cost to match the new 2022 Tropical pants zip). The zip can be removed if it is not required.

The Assero Air-Speed jacket comes with a set of SAS-TEC shoulder and elbow protectors.

Assero Air Rush Jacket

Only a few men's Air Rush jackets remain.

The Assero Air Rush motorcycle jacket, pictured above right, has large mesh panels in the front, sides, and arms (and as with all our jackets, reinforced with webbing behind the mesh). Based on a strong Cordura 1000D chassis the Air Rush has Cordura cuffs wtih reflectors. Unlike the photo above, the jackets we have left have white panels with red trim. The included armor is the excellent SAS-TEC shoulder and elbow joint protectors worth $50 / 1650THB.

Assero Air Blast Jacket

The Assero Air Blast motorcycle jacket is absolutely our coolest jacket for hot weather. It has the most air-flow. Large mesh panels on the front, sides and back let air through the whole jacket (as with all our jackets, reinforced with webbing behind the mesh). We made the Air Blast with a Cordura 1000D chassis with some polyester fabric panels used in places where strength less critical. This keeps the price down.

Please note Air Blast jackets are a blouson cut, sized to be "short" in the body. They suit sports bikes. The sleeves are slightly shorter than our other jackets hence they are not suitable for adventure or laidback motorcyles where the rider's arms are stretched out.

Terms and Conditions

Warranty: All Assero jackets are covered by our lifetime warranty. Nonetheless, in cases where a jacket is a one-off or end-of-line, we can only refund and not replace your jacket if it has a flaw.

Sizing: On receipt of your order we will double check your body measurements to ensure the jacket you order fits. Please have a tape measure handy. All sales are final. Returns for a different size can't be accomodated because the chances are we don't have a replacement jacket in a different size.

Shipping: Sale items do not include free shipping unless otherwise noted. Most jackets will be dispatched from our warehouse in Indonesia. Due to the Coronavirus "European" situation delivery is made on a "best effort" basis. We depend on the Post Office for deliveries.
