Air-Speed Stealth Jacket

We created the Stealth version of our well-loved Air Speed jacket for those who appreciate a versatile jacket which can be worn every day on the bike and which doesn't stand out on the street. With a refined, modern cut that conceals its specialization the Air Speed Stealth offers a sophisticated design with without extra seams, superfluous pockets, or embroidery. Ideal for a trip to the mall where you don't want to stand out as "a biker," or for riding to work. We find the Air Speed Stealth jacket is comfortable for long days and multi-day rides where sun, wind, and rain showers are part of the journey. It includes SAS-TEC EN 1621-1:2012 Level 2 certified shoulder and elbow armor.

Features

  • Close-cut, blouson style motorcycle jacket with two external zipped pockets and one internal zipped pocket.
  • Mesh panels on the front and side of the garment, and concealed rear vent across the shoulders.
  • Full length metal toothed YKK main zipper. Hand and internal pockets secured with black YKK coil zippers.
  • Cordura 1000D fabric is coated with Durable Water Repellant (DWR) for quick drying.
  • CE Certified Level 2 SAS-TEC shoulder and arm protectors included.
  • Internal pocket for optional SAS-TEC Level 1 Hot Weather back protector.

Our Cordura 1000D fabric is custom made specifically for Assero Gear for use in hot and humid conditions. It is highly abrasion resistant, many times stronger than denim. While the loose weave allows air to pass through the fabric, rain will pill and roll off thanks to a Durable Water Resistant coating. Note the fabric is not waterproof. It is designed to dry very quickly if it becomes wet.

The protectors offer out-standing comfort, impact attentuation, and convenience. The SAS-TEC protectors are made from a soft and pliable memory foam which shapes itself to your body when worn. Protectors surpass the required values of EN 1621-1:2012, level 2 by approx. 30 per cent. The protectors can be left inside the jacket for laundering.
